R.D.C. Celebrates Bassi’s Birthday!

Happy Thursday Everyone!

It has been quite a while since I last posted. Much has happened, but since I missed many days of blogging, I got kind of buried in the snowball effect of pictures and associated verbiage that needed to be posted.

I decided that I’m going to just create a “blog catch up” post that just captures a brief synopsis of the basic happenings since we got back from Lakewood. If I don’t finish it all now, I’ll continue adding to this post piece by piece until I’m caught up.

So here goes: Short verbiage, and more pictures!

We celebrated Bassi’s Birthday by going to Lucky’s, which is an arcade with lots of blinking lights and games where you can win tickets. The girls got a game card and were able to play whatever they wanted until the card was used up.

First, they played air hockey:


Then some Skee-Ball:


Then a driving game:


It seems they quite enjoyed driving (and hitting every tree and guard rail possible):


Then they spun this great big wheel, kinda like the showcase showdown wheel from the Price is Right:


Rivky got in a nice spin!


And here they are selecting one of the fabulous prizes available:


The girls demonstrate that they are sick of me taking their picture (“Tatty, Stop that already!!!!”)


And after leaving Lucky’s, we saw this nice flower planter:


From there we went to The Great Indoors, which is a store that sells all kinds of home furnishings.
We checked out this leather sectional couch:


And this ceramic tile shower:


And saw this nifty toilet seat:


And enjoyed the view from the escalator:


To finish off the day, we had Bassi’s birthday cake expertly baked and iced by Rivky and Batsheva Britvan:


And Bassi cut the cake and handed it out to the family and neighbors:

I just reviewed the pictures from the last week and a half since Lakewood, and I have almost 40 pictures to load. whoa!
